S’hip Couple Caught Selling Meth To Help Pregnant Daughter

Sattahip anti-drug drug force arrested a drug dealing couple with 130 methamphetamine tablets hidden in an ice cooler. They said in tears that they had done it to find money to pay for their pregnant daughter’s delivery.

SATTAHIP – March 27, 2012 [PDN]; Mr.Charn Lamcharern, Sattahip sheriff and special anti drug task force of Sattahip said that, they had arrested a couple, Mr. Visoot Charernsuk 37-years-old, and Miss Thanida Duangmalapark 36-years-old residing in house number 39/45, moo 1, Plutaluang ,Chonburi in possession of 130 methamhetamine tablets.

Mr.Wanchart Wannaprarm deputy chief of Sattahip district said that, they could arrest the convicts because Miss Somporn Muangmaitong village head of moo 2 , tambon Plutaluang, informed that the suspected drug dealers had been using their house in number 116/96 , Soi Saladang, moo 2 , Plutaluang, Chonburi to sell drugs.

Upon questioning the suspects confessed that, they had been selling drugs for a long time. The meth in the cooler they had bought from “Toon” ( his real name unknown) a man age about 35 years old, living in Soi Kuaitiewped Urai in Sattahip.

They bought the tablets at 120 THB per tablet and sold them at 200-250 THB per tablet. They did it because they wanted money to help their pregnant daughter to deliver her baby.
