Centara Hotels & Resorts sees Pattaya as being prime market for future development

Centara Hotels & Resorts is Thailand’s largest operator of hotels, with 55 properties located throughout the kingdom and a growing overseas portfolio that includes the Maldives, Vietnam, the Philippines, Bali, Sri Lanka and Mauritius.
In Bangkok Centara operates two five-star hotels, Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld, and Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok, and two more hotels will open in the city within the near future. Centara also has properties in Hua Hin, Krabi, Pattaya, Samui, Koh PhaNgan, Phuket, Rayong, Trat, Hat Yai, Chiang Mai, Mae Sot, Udon Thani and Khon Kaen. Several of the destinations offer a multiple choice of Centara hotels to cater for different markets.
There are five brands within the Centara group: Grand, the premium five-star level; the core Centara brand; the Centara Boutique Collection of intimately-scaled properties; Centra, the group’s 4 star value brand; and Centara Residences & Suites.
Centara Grand Resort & Spa Jomtien will be a 200-room five-star hotel, while the Centara Grand Residence will contain 283 privately owned apartment units. Owners and residents in the apartments will have direct access to all the facilities of the hotel.
All hotels and resorts in the Centara Grand category offer outstanding facilities and service whilst assuring absolute value for guests. Independent travellers, couples, families and groups have an abundance of attractions and leisure activities, and supervised activities are available for children of all ages. Centara Grand Resort & Spa Jomtien will be the third Grand property in Pattaya, the other being Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya, which opened in late 2009 and which is located at Wong Amat Beach. And Centara Grand Resort & Spa Pattaya which is under construction and located on Phra Tamnak Road and which will be opened late 2012.
The group also has two other resort hotels in Pattaya, both of which opened in late 2011. Centara Pattaya Hotel, located in Central Pattaya, is a four-star property under the Centara brand, and Nova Hotel & Spa Pattaya, also in the centre of the city, is part of the Centara Boutique Collection.
