Wife Accidentally Shoots Hubbie At Rayong New Year’s Party

The wife of the owner of Saengtien resort celebrated the new year, shot into the air 3 times, as she moved the gun down, the gun accidentally shot her husband.

Rayong, January 1, 2012 [PDN]; at 12.20 a.m. Pol. Capt. Virat Yodsao, police on duty, Pae police station, Rayong province was notified there was a dead body was shot on Samed island Moo 4 Tambon Pae, Amphur Muang, he rushed to investigate with Pol. Lt. Col. Sombat Cheunkunakorn, Inspector, the head of Samed island branch, Pae police station and the rescue officer Sawangpornkusol Rayong Foundation, the incident occurred at Saengtien beach where they found the dead body of Mr. Thanakij Suppasee age 48, the owner of Saengtien resort, lying down with a pile of blood and had been shot in the right chest 1 time and found 4 cartridges of the same caliber nearby. Mrs. Rampa Suppasee age 48, the wife of the dead man was standing and holding a .22 gun, waiting to surrender to the police, the police kept the gun for evidence and let the rescue officer send the corpse to for an autopsy.

Mrs. Rampa said that she and her husband had dined out at the beach to celebrate the new year and after finishing dinner they waited for the count down to the first day of the year 2012, she then fired into the air 3 times but when she moved the gun down, the gun accidentally shot one more time and shot Mr.Thanakij who died immediately, she confirmed that she didn’t intend to shoot her husband and they never had any a quarrel. Initially, the officer made an accusation of killing and will investigate in detail again whether the cause was accidental or with determination and will investigate with their relatives whether they had any argument or disagreement and the result of autopsy and the bullet path.
