Thousands of Thais And Tourists Enjoy Loy Krathong at Nong Nooch Tropical Garden.

Sattahip, November 10, 2011 [PDN]; Mr. Charnchai Eeamcharoen, Sattahip Chief District Officer with Mr. Ithiphol Khunplem, the Lord Mayor of Pattaya City, Mr. Sornchai Thongyangyeun, The Chairman of Na Jomtien Subdistrict Administration and Mrs. Pattanan Khantisukkaphan, General Manager of Nong Nooch Tropical Garden Pattaya attended the annual Loy Krathong celebration by the lake at Nong Nooch Tropical Garden in Amphur Sattahip, Chonburi province.

More than a thousand Thais and international tourists joined the ceremony together with Bangkokians and other provincial flood victims who had sought refuge on the Eastern Seaboard. They all enjoyed the memorable Loy Krathong festivities including cultural shows galore and the releasing of lanterns into the sky evening skies.

 

Mrs. Pattanan Khantisukkaphan, the general manager of Nong Nooch Tropical Garden said that the Loy Krathong ceremony this year was not as lively as in the past due to the massive floods ravaging many provinces of the Thai Kingdom. However, Nong Nooch Tropical Garden showed their spirit by offering discount for the entrance ticket price and the room rates during this period.

For the Loy Krathong ceremony this year Nong Nooch Tropical Garden arranged 40 sets of spectacular shows. Furthermore, the Krathong floats were made of bio-degradeable materials to make this years Krathong celebration 100% pollution free.
