Pattaya Teen Gang Snatch Russian Womans Purse

Pattaya police arrested three teenagers, aged 13-14 snatching a Russian womans purse. One escaped. The gang was operating in the area of Pattaya City Walk.

Pattaya (September 2, 2011) [PDN] Pol.Capt. Somchai Chaikananukul Pattaya police, Chonburi province, was notified of a snatch-and-run crime involving a foreign tourist in front of Pattaya City Walk.

At the scene the police found the bystanders having caught the thief named “Boy Jech” age 14, with a purse containing 2,000 THB, a mobile phone belonging to the victim Ms Dodkhudoeva Zazinu age 22, Russian citizen.

“Boy Jech” confessed that he was part of a gang including four other boys. Later the police could arrest two more boys named “Boy Bell” age 14 and “Boy Jack” age 13.

The police detained the three suspects for the victim to identify them. The fourth troublemaker named “Boy Lai” escaped.

Upon investigation the police they found that the three boys are vagrant and stay with a friend’s who works in a gay bar in Soi Sunee, South Pattaya.

Before they snatched the purse they walked around South Pattaya. They found Russian woman, the victim who was buying fruit at the sidewalk. “Boy Jech”, snatched the purse off the Russian woman and threw it to his friend who ran ran away but was caught by a bystander at the scene. All the boys confessed saying that they needed the money tfor their daily life.

The police detained the three boys who parents will be contacted. Thereafter they will prosecuted according to the law.
