Pattaya, October 7, 2011[PDN]; Last night heavy continuous rains were reported in Pattaya and nearby areas. The flooding was caused by flood water being dumped into the lower lying areas causing hardship for tourists and locals.

A 39-year-old pickup driver smashes into three stationary cars at a traffic light. All vehicles damaged. No injuries. None of the drivers has car insurance. The pickup driver goes to jail if he doesn't pay.

Sattahip locals saw two paragliders encountering sudden wind gusts and stalling with collapsed canopies into a deep forest in Khao Morn valley. The rescue team found the pilot. No injuries. The other paraglider and pilot has not yet been found. More rescue teams have been mobilised.

Million Year Stone Park and Pattya Crocodile Farm reported that 29 of the escaped crocodiles have been recaptured. In case additional crocodiles are found there is a 5,000 THB reward per crocodile.
