SATTAHIP – June 28 , 2012 [PDN]; At 01:00 , Pol.Col.Ekachai Mullee, Sattahip police station, Chonburi, was notified that two fake policemen with a gun and a knife had threatened and hurt a grilled fish vendor.
The victim was seriously injured. The robbers , stole the vendors gold ornament and cash before they disappeared into Soi Bon Kai.
The robbery happened in the parking lot behind Sahachai market, Sattahip, Chonburi.
At the crime scene. Many of villagers were in panicking after the violent robbery.
They described the two criminals as one tall and slim, the other fat and short. Both aged about 40, short hair, wearing black jackets, trousers, dressed like police officers.
They were riding a maroon Honda Click motorcycle. Their weapons; a short automatic gun and a short knife which they used threaten Mr. Boonnam Kaeo-inta 54-year-old, a grilled fish vendor at the market. The police and rescue team send him swiftly to the emergency room of Sirikit Hospital of Thai Royal Navy. The vendor needed 20 stitches.
The police checked the crime scene and found only a pool of blood and the knife. The thieves got away with the vendors gold ornaments and 10,000 THB in cash.
The victim said that, before the robbery he had been selling his grilled fish as usual.
After the market closed he piled all his stuff into his black Toyota Vigo pick-up truck, registration code bor wor (บว) 7612, Rayong.
But suddenly he had to relieve himself and walked to the bushes. Then two men appeared. The fat guy locked the vendors arms and the thin guy took stole all his all his assets.
The vendor resisted but the fat guy whipped out his gun, threatened him and hit him on his head several times. Thereafter the criminals disappeared.
Pol.Col.Chanapat Nawalak, Sattahip police station said, he assumed that the criminals must had been observing the victim for a long time before they robbed him.
The CCTVs footage is being examined and the witnesses are being questioned. The investigation is on.
