Krabi FC Expat Player Arrested Accused of Raping US Female Student

A Nigerian Krabi Football Club player has been arrested, accused of raping an American student. The player refuses to admit that he raped her.

KRABI – June 1, 2012 [PDN]; Pol.Lt.Col. Chatchawan Ninchan, Muang Krabi police station arrested Mr.Malachy Ekene Obinwanne, a 24 year-old-Nigerian footballer playing for Krabi FC accused of rape.

The police caught the suspect at his house # 5/1 Moo 21, Muang, Krabi after the police was notified by the victim Miss Jenny a 23-years-old American student that she had been raped. The alleged rape occurred on May 31 about 02:00 hours.

Upon interrogation the suspect refused to admit that he raped the woman. The footballer is under arrest awaiting investigation.
