SATTAHIP – May 15, 2012 [PDN]; Pol. Lt. Naret Boonthee, Sattahip police station, Chonburi province was informed by Ms. Jariya Jankrajang age 22 and Ms. Sirikwan Chavee age 22 both 4th year students of Ratchapat Bansomdej Chaopraya University.
The two were trainees at Aek Tour company located on Sukhumvit road, Moo 3 Sattahip , Chonburi province.
The two female student trainees said that they were beaten by Mr. Thaya Parnkaew age 36, managing director of Aek Tour company.
At the scene of the incident a two story building.The police officers were met by the manager Mr. Thaya who scolded the officers with rude words and forbid them to assist the victims but finally agreed.

Both of the trainees were frightened and had sustained injuries. Ms. Kannika Vongsuk age 24, position tour guide. Her blouse was torn and had she had wounds at her neck, breast and at the back. Almost 10 wounds.
The other trainee Ms. Vilasinee Thipsriboot age 23, position secretary had swollen wounds on her body.
The police officers sent the victims and the suspect to be further investigated at Sattahip police station.

Pol. Lt. Naret Boonthee, investigation officer, said that upon investigating the victims and the suspect Mr. Thaya Parnkaew confessed that he beat the employees because he felt unsatisfied with their performance.
He said he was under a lot of stress and had lost his temper so he beat Ms. Vilasinee in the room and when he saw that Ms. Kannika he got angry at him because he beat her friend Mr. Thaya beat her too.
Later they both resigned from the company and went to notify the police. The victims asked for 20,000 THB in compensation which the manager of the tour company agreed to pay to the victims.
