PATTAYA – May 12, 2012 [PDN]; Pol. Col. Supphathee Boonkrong, Deputy Commissioner Chonburi province came to Pattaya police station and had a meeting with Pol. Col. Thammanoon Munkong, Superintendent, Pol. Lt. Col. Supphachai Puikaewkam, Deputy Superintendent, Pol. Lt. Col. Kierttisak Sathongoy, Deputy Superintendent and the detectives in order to solve the ” Three Drugged Bangladeshi Rotarian” case.
After the meeting Pol. Col. Suphathee said that the picture of the woman in the CCTV footage and the photograph on the identity card did not match.
The police compared the photograph in the identity card with the footage from the CCTV.
The footage shows the woman arriving at the hotel with the victims and leaving the hotel at 04:00 hours.
On the CCTV images the police can see a Thai woman age, approximately 30 up, rather fat, white skin, long hair, height about 155-160 cm.
Comparing the image on the the identity card. The police says, it’s not the same person.
The police believes that the suspected prostitute might have stolen the identity card which she gave to the hotel clerk.
Pattaya police coordinated with the Konsawan police station, Chaiyaphum province regarding the information about Ms. Pornthip.
It was confirmed that Ms. Pornthip works in Pattaya and stays at room number A1 Jaroendee apartment in Soi Kor Phai 4/5 South Pattaya. The police invited her for questioning.
Ms. Pornthip said she has worked as a clerk at Big C department store, North Pattaya for a long time. She confirmed that she is not the suspect nor does she know the suspect.
She had simply lost her identity card two months ago and already returned back to Chaiyaphum province in order to make a new ID card.
The police believes that Ms. Pornthip is not related to this case.
Pol. Col. Thammanoon Munkong, Superintendent, Pattaya police station said this incident had impacted the image of Pattaya negatively.
Therefore this case is on the top of the priority list.
Pattaya police has mobilised all the resources to arrest the suspect. It is believed that this woman, is a hooker who works at Pattaya beach or in the entertainments centers.
However, the two Bangladeshi victims are still in coma and cannot give any information.
The police expects to be able to arrest the suspected prostitute soon.
3 Bangladeshi nationals were drugged by a Pattaya prostitute whom they brought to have group sex with in a Pattaya hotel. Later the three Rotarians were found drugged. One of them had died and two were in a coma. The hooker got away with their belongings. Pattaya police is on the case.
