Pattaya Visitors Be Aware of Thieves!

A Russian tourist in Pattaya went for a walk. Took off his pants and shirt and sat on the beach. Moments later two snatch & grab thieves stole his belongings.

PATTAYA – May 12, 2012 [PDN]; Pol. Lt. Col. Chuangchot Mongkolthanayuth, Pattaya police was notified by Mr. Ruslan Suleymanov Hamitovieh age 36, Russian national that thieves had stolen his shirt and pants which he had taken off as he was sitting on the beach near Soi 6/1 Pattaya, Moo 9, Banglamung.

Mr. Ruslan said that he was staying at the Beverly Plaza hotel, Central Pattaya. The night of May 12 he could not sleep so he went for a walk on the beach and took off his pants and shirt. In his pants there was 1,500 THB and his room key.

Suddenly a Thai boy and woman walked up to him and persuaded him to smoke a cigarette but he refused, so the two walked away. 10 minutes later, the two strangers came back and grabbed his shirt and pants and ran away. Pattaya police is on the case.
