PATTAYA – May 4,2012 [PDN]; Tiffany theatre, Pattaya Miss Lisa Pansak, managing director of Tiffany show company, organizer of the Miss Tiffany Universe Contest 2012 said, that 30 girls qualified to enter the annual contest which started on April 29. Many supporters came from Pattaya and all over the Kingdom to see the contest.
Miss Alisa Pansak, the contest manager, said that this year, the aim of the contest was to promote Pattaya tourism, and to pick the most beautiful and talented transwomen to attend the Miss International Queen 2012.
Also, to support transgender women to be more accepted among Thais and foreigners.
The jury consisted of professionals from many different fields.
The winner was number 28, “Nong Jele”, Panvilas Mongkol, 21, owner of a lingerie shop in Bangkok.
“Nong Jele” received the crown, a sash, 120,000 THB and a Toyota Yaris sedan.
The first runner up was number 12, Nisha Chaiyapruk, or “Nong Pompam” 23-years-old, she received 100,000 THB and a a sash,
The second runner up number 22, Siriworakarn Buttayothee or “Nong Pukky” 21-years-old. Cash reward: 70,000 THB.
For the ‘Miss Gluta 200′ prize, or the swim suit prize, went to Nisamanee Lertworapong or “NongNut” 21-years-old, rewarded 10,000 THB cash and a sash.
The most beautiful dress prize went to number 18, Kamala Potisarn. Miss Congeniality prize went to number 2, Sopida Rajanon. The friendship prize went to Rattanan Seelavanich. And the best night gown prize went to number 12, Nicha Chaiyapruk.
Nong Jele, Panvilas Mongkol, said that she was so glad and flattered that she won Miss Tiffany 2012, because it was the first time she attended and she had never thought that she would win.
