10,000 Tourists Splash Water in Wan Lai Pattaya

Wan Lai Pattaya, the scene was very vigorous, there were plenty of Thai people and Foreign Tourists coming to play water splashing with each other.

PATTAYA – April 19, 2012 [PDN]; Pattaya Journalist reported that the scene at Pattaya’s Wan Lai Songkran 2012, in the morning, there was a merit making ceremony and Rod Nam, Dam Hua Tradition at Chai Mongkol Temple, South Pattaya. For general scenery, people came out of their homes to splash water at others merrily and vigorously especially at Pattaya Beach Road from North to South Pattaya, the Pattaya Government had closed the road for people to play water splashing. Moreover some entrepreneurs held foam parties and brought some musical bands to show for spice up the atmosphere.

There were serious traffic jams in Pattaya, especially Pattaya 2nd and 3rd roads , South, Central, North roads and Sukhumvit road, because many people brought big water tank to their pic-ups and went to splash water to other people in many roads. Police Officers put all their effort to do their work to facilitate people by release the traffic jam. Moreover Pattaya Police had arranged forces from Pattaya Police Station and Special Force of local Police of Chonburi to patrol in crowded places to prevent bad incidents that might happened.
