PATTAYA – April 17, 2012 [PDN]; 18.00, at the temporary boxing field, Laem Balihai Port, Pattaya, Mrs. Sukumol Khunpleum, the Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Mr. Suwaj Liptapallop, Ex-Minister in the status of the Chairman of the Competition, Mr. Ithiphol Khunpleum, the Lord Mayor of Pattaya and Mr. Sonthaya Khunpleum, the Exclusive Chairman together opened the Competition of Thai Boxing in the Thai Fight program, Thai Boxing, Thai Culture.
At first there was to be 6 matches, but one was cut from the program leaving only 5 fights, the first match was between Topking Boxing (Thai) and Chatz Mulky (America), the second match was between Saiyok Poomphanmuang (Thai) and Rustem Saripow (Russia), the third match was between Khem Sissongpeenong (Thai) with George Pormer (British), the fourth match was between Sudsakorn Sorklinmee (Thai) and Singmanee Kaewsamrit (Thai) and the last match at first was to be Buakhao Porpramook, which the people and tourists expected to see Buakhao’s boxing.
Buakhao Porpramook, broke his contract and decided to replace Saiyok Phoomphanmuang and fight Rustem Saripow (Russia)He was able to knock out the Russian in the second round, that made the crowd happy. After the fight, Buakhao said with tears on the stage that “before the fight this time, everyone said that there were so many problems, today I fought with high intentions, for today’s program everyone knows that I wanted to fight because I am the champion and I trained to fight in this program today and to pay respect to my King Bhumiphol, I will not leave my duty although there were so many problems, I do for Thailand and Thai people and Surin people and for my father that came to watch me fight. I am so happy that I can fulfill my dream in fighting today although tomorrow I will be in jail, I consent”
Then Buakhao Porpramook prostrated to his father’s feet on the stage.
