SATTAHIP – April 11, 2012 [PDN]; At 14.00 on Mr. Chaicharn Eamjaroen, the Sheriff of Amphur Sattahip, Chonburi Province, together with Mr. Chawat Thepthap, the officer in charge of protecting Amphur Sattahip, mobilized their forces from the Center of Conquering and Fighting against Drugs, Sattahip and conducted a covert operation to lure Mr. Poramet also known as Too Nimnual age 35, address 407/367 Uah Arthorn Village, Tambon Nongprue, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi Province, in to selling amphetamines to one of their Agents. Mr. Poramet is a major dealer of amphetamines in the Pattaya area and an appointment was made to meet him in the car park of Tesco Lotus, South Pattaya, Tambon Nongprue, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi Province to purchase 50 tablets from him. Mr. Poramet was arrested whilst riding a blue Suzuki Swing motorbike, license number KHOR NOR KOR-145, Chonburi.

The officers escorted Mr. Poramet to his home address to secure illegal items as further evidence and also arrested a second suspect named Ms. Chadarat also known as Yen Suphadee age 36, his wife that helped him to sell the drugs. The police searched the abode and located 50 amphetamine tablets hidden in the shirt pocket of a shirt that was hanging over the driver’s seat in a bronze Toyota Corona, license number KOR PHOR-890 Chonburi, that was parked in front of the house. The officers seized all of the illegal items discovered and the vehicle and proceeds from their criminal activities and submitted the evidence to the Committee of Protecting and Subduing Drugs.
Upon questioning Mr. Poramet also known as Too, confessed that his wife and himself had sold amphetamine for a long time, and they used the network of Mr. Aek, who is a prisoner in Chonburi Prison. The profits made from selling the illegal drugs were used to support his mistress, to which his wife had accepted and assisted him in dealing the illegal drugs.
