PATTAYA – April 10, 2012 [PDN]; A journalist was informed that there was a plastic bag in an unopened Coca-Cola bottle, The informant is the owner of Samyan Fish Dumpling Shop, located at 32/1, Soi Nernplubwan, moo 5, tambon Nongprue, Amphur Banglamung Chonburi, so the reporter rushed to seek out the facts.
Upon arrival the journalist spoke with Miss Ampond Thammavanich a 42 year old shop owner, she showed the journalist the bottle, it was a 280 cc, Cola-Cola bottle, tightly closed, with no evidence of ever being opened and the seal was intact. In the bottle there was a small transparent plastic bag and they had no idea how it had gotten inside the bottle.

Miss Ampond informed the reporter that she had been selling noodles soup for almost 10 years, ordering all kinds and brands of sodas from whole sale shops, when she discovered this bottle that contained a small plastic bag inside. She stated that she was not shocked or surprised with her find only curious as to how the plastic bag had entered the contents of the bottle. She further stated that she had not told anyone except for her family and close friends.
Mr.Vorawit Ruangratvanichya, Sales Regional Manager of Thainamthip Co.Ltd, inspected the bottle and informed the journalist that there were many ways that the plastic bag could have made its way in to the bottle, he would not state the exact way, but he was going to send it to his quality control staff at head office to discover the source of the contamination.
