Minburi Cops Arrested for Heavy Drug Offences Worth Billions of THB

Pol.Lt.Gen.Vinai Tongsong commissioner of the metropolitan police, said that they had arrested four policemen who had confiscated and sold 305,200 pills of meth and 5 kilograms of ice, approximately value 4.5 billion THB, 10 cell phones and three vehicles.

The police officers were arrested in Minburi area. Upon investigation, the narcotics suppression police and metropolitan police had known that there had been policemen from the drug control division of Minburi police commander center 3 who after seizing the meth pills had hidden the drugs and sold them secretly.

The commissioner of the metropolitan police said that the four police officers have been questioned by the committee for severely breaching discipline. The police officers will be relieved from their duties.
