Rayong Man Asleep in His Vigo Truck Locals Think He is Dead

A middle aged man driving a four-door Vigo pickup truck parked in front of a grocery store, switched on the engine and turned off the air conditioner. The man could not be woken up. The locals thought he was dead so they called to the police.

SATTAHIP – March 16, 2012 [PDN]; Pol. Lt. Saijai Kamjulla, Sattahip police station, Chonburi province was notofied by Mrs. Somkuan Neungjamnong, age 58, the owner of Somkuan grocery store; located at 80/21 Sukhumvit 81, Sattahip, Chonburi province that man had parked his pickup in front of her store for several hours. She asked the police to investigate.

At the scene the police found a black four-door Vigo pickup truck, license number KOR THOR-8156 Rayong province, parked with engine running. All the doors were locked. Inside the police saw a male driver age circa 40, wearing a white T-shirt sleeping, covered in sweat.

 

The police and locals tried to knock on the windows to wake him up but he was fast asleep. After an hour the police, afraid that the driver would suffocate contacted a locksmith to open the door of the pickup truck.

But as they waited for the locksmith, the driver woke up. Grabbed the steering wheel and left the scene heading fast towards Rayong province.

Mrs. Somkuan, the owner of the shop said that while she was selling goods to the customers, a pickup truck parked in front of her shop with the engine running for more than an hour.

Finally, she walked up to the pickup truck and peeked inside to find the driver fast asleep. Mrs. Somkuan and her staff tried to wake up the driver but to no avail so she called the police. Who is the sleepy driver? Why was he so tired?
