Sattahip, February 22, 2012 [PDN]: Pol.Lt. Thanasak Prasattong Sattahip police was notified by Sergeent Somboon Laporn, age 34 Royal Thai Navy. Address: flat 1, number 21/1138 , Moo 2, Sattaheep, Chonburi province, that a burglar had broken into his room through a window and stolen his property.
At the crime scene the police found Sergeant Somboon Laporn, the victim in a state of panic.
His neighbors gave a testimony and brought the officers to see the spot where the burglar had entered the room, the lower window at back of the room. The thief used a knife to open the window but left it by the window. He stole a 14 baht gold ornament, a Samsung laptop, a piggy bank with 3,000 THB and dissapeared.
These were the victims savings he had been collecting from the first day since je joined the Navy approximately around 300,000 THB.

Sergent Sombon said that, he had been out in the morning to work and he had locked the door as usual.
But when he returned he found the door was open. He he rushed to check and then realized that he had been burglarized. The 14 baht gold ornament from his wedding was gone. He had saved it for his children. He begged the police to arrest the burglar.
The investigating officer said that, the burglar could be one of his acquaintances who knew his every move.
It could not be an outsider. The police kept the knife as foensic evidence, to check and match the finger prints and catch the criminal soonest possible.
