HIV+ Bangkok Cabbie Arrested For Raping & Robbing Passengers

Pol.Maj.Col. Saroj Promjarern Deputy Commissioner of Royal Thai Police and Pol. Col. Pashara Boonyasit Acting Commissioner Royal Thai Police reported that Pol.Lt.Col. Krisana Sukanta, Phayathai police station had arrested Kaeo Sangmuang, age 43 address: # 130 Mo 2 , Mahachai, Saingam, Kampangpetch.

Mr. Kaeo was caught near Big C Lat Prao carrying a black Compaq notebook computer worth 20,000 THB that had he stole from Mrs. Nittiya Low and her husband on February 18.

The suspect confessed that he had been robbing pasengers for many years. If he had the opportunity he would deceive the female passengers to have sex with him in his cab or in a motel. Some he threatened with a knife and stole their belongings.

He added that he knew that was he was HIV positive but he had used a condom during every sexual intercourse. The stolen belongings of the victims were sold or pawned.

Mr. Kaeo the suspect, said he always drove his cab from 05.00-20.00 around Huai Kwang, Rajadapisek and Lad Prao area.

The victims can identify Mr. Kaeo at Phayathai police station.
