Danish Man Flips His Ford Ranger Into Sattahip Navy Crematory Wall

Sattahip, February, 20 2012 [PDN]; Pol.Lt.Col. Sombat Sopap, Sattahip police station was notified about a car accident where a vehicle had smashed into a crematory concrete at the Sattahit naval base roundabout. Inside overturned vehicle the injured Danish driver was stuck.

At the scene of the accident the police found a red Ford Ranger pickup truck with temporary registration plate: Sor(ศ) 1669 Bangkok. The vehicle was overturned, heavily damaged leaning against the crematory wall. Inside the pickup truck Mr.Soren Christian, age 47. Danish national seriously injured, stuck against the center console.

The Sawangrojana Rescue Team, Sattahip needed 10 minutes to extract the injured driver out of the vehicle. After receiving first aid for cuts on his face, arms and his right knee the driver was sent the emergency room of HM Queen Sirikit Hospital, Thai Navy Medical Center.

Pol.Lt.Col.Sombat Sopap, Satahip police reported that, the injured driver said, that he was driving from Pattaya to Rayong. But he had lost his way. When he reached the traffic circle he was driving very fast and lost control of the Ford Ranger which overturned and hit the wall. His pick up truck is insured. The insurance company has been contacted.
