Groom To Be Caught With Amphetamine Wedding Gift Package

Nong Khai police arrested a groom to be and bride for going to Laos to receive amphetamine pills as a wedding gift.

Nong Kai, February 8, 2012 [PDN]; Nong Kai, Thai-Lao Friendship bridge. The Thai customs arrested a Thai national with 22 amphetamine pills he had received as a wedding gift.

Mr.Kriangkrai Khunchuen, age 30 Thai national and Ms. Rassamee Wongchai, age 24 Laos citizen were about to get married. Mr Kriangkrai said, But instead the man was arrested while crossing the Thai-Lao Friendship bridge from Nong Kai to Lao in possession of 22 amphetamine pills.

Mr Kriangkrai said, that to were going get married on March 1, 2012. Ms.Rassamee called her friends in Laos but her friends could not make it and had sent the package containing 22 amphetamine pills as wedding gift.

Mr. Kriangkrai went to Lao to receive the gift and told Rassamee to wait at Thai-Lao friendship bridge. When he reached the customs his package was inspected and he was arrested.
