7 Month Pregnant Drug-Dealer Convulses in Pattaya Police Cell

A seven month old pregnant woman arrested for "ya-ice" possession in Pattaya. In police detention she develops seizures and is taken to hospital.

Pattaya, February 4, 2012 [PDN]; Pol.Lt. Visanu Pattaya police was notified by a guard on the second floor of Pattaya police station that Miss Namfon Asaviset age, 22 years address: 198 moo 8, Chiangwang, Udornthani.

Ms. Namfon was arrested in possession of 0.66 grams of crystal methamphetamine. The arrest followed an under cover operation on February 3, at 14:00 hrs the police found Miss Namfon in front of the area of Ganesha shrine Middle Pattaya selling drugs. She said she had never sold drugs before.

After being arrested, Ms. Namfon seven months pregnant was brought to Pattaya police station and detained before her trial. In the cell, Ms. Namfon developed an epileptic seizure and she was transferred to Banglamung hospital.
