Pattaya (January 29, 2012)n[PDN] Pol. Maj. Kreangkrai Wuthbuakla, Pattaya police station was notified by a staff from Jasmine Villa Hotel at 33/148-149 Moo 10 Soi Buakhao, Banglamung, Chonburi province that a foreigner in room 105 intoxicated by a hypnotic drug was in need of assistance.
At scene the officers of Sawangboribul Pattaya Foundation were told that Mr. Brian Herbert age 70, nationality British had transferred to Banglamung hospital.
A witness Ms. “Pat”, the cashier on duty from 22:00- 07:00 said, that at 01.00 a good looking woman in jeans wearing a hat, age circa 20 was waiting for the lift with Mr Herbert looking suspiciously for the security cameras.
There thereafter they went up to Mr.Brian’s room. The woman stayed until 08.00 and left without her hat.
When the house maid came to clean the room she discovered that Mr. Herbert was drugged. The maid notified the police immediately.
Upon inspecting the room the police found fruit and a bottle of water. The maid said, that Mr. Herbert likes to eat only fruit, and drink milk and water. The police noticed that the safe was damaged.

The following items were reported stolen:
1. Cash 300,000 THB missing from the broken safe
2. One family heirloom ring
3. One mobile phone
4. One bracelet
Total value: 400,000 THB.
The police is checking the evidence and the fingerprints. A police sketch will be made for Ms. Pat, the cashier who saw the suspect.

This is probably an issuance scam. The whole point of giving some one “Knock-Out Drops” is that you don't have to do a BAE (Break and entry).
So the answer to you question is: She did not break the safe open (he did). He just picked a random girl from a bar and let her do a turnaround.
Knock-Out Drops” usually only works for 2-3 hours before the victim wakes up with a headache.. he slept well for 7 hours.
lets hope she thinks to look at the cctv to help with the drawing!!
