An 18 year ya-ba dealer escaped from a police inspection. After a high speed pursuit he collided with a Pattaya volunteer police and was arrested. On his Honda bike the police found crystal methamphetamine, "ya-ice", and amphetamine tablets hidden under the seat.

Pattaya, January 29, 2012 [PDN]; Pol. Lt. Col. Kittitas Kanchai, Inspector, Pattaya police station was notified by Mr. Pornchai Saelim age 28, a member of the Pattaya volunteer police, stationed at Petchtrakul sentry box.

Mr. Pornchai had spotted a suspicious teenager riding a Honda Wave, white-black color, no license plate. The volunteer police suspected that the bike was stolen. When the teenager saw the volunteer police he sped away and disappeared.

The suspect rode along North Pattaya and turned into Soi Pothisarn at high speed. But now the Pattaya police force was in hot pursuit after the teenager who escaped into Soi Pothisarn a dead end street.

The runaway teen made a u-turn and collided with Mr. Pornchai, the volunteer police who was chasing the teen again. In the crash Mr. Pornchai was slightly injured but the suspect was finally caught. He was identified as Mr. Kittisak or “B Saengthong” age 18 address 35/1 Tambon Saensuk, Amphur Muang, Chonburi province.

The police searched in his body, his motorbike and found drugs hidden under the seat. Five packs of ya-ice in clear plastic bags weight 30 g and 50 amphetamine tablets plus drug paraphernalia.

“Mr. B” said that the motorbike belongs to his friend named “Joe”. He borrowed from him and didn’t know that the drugs were hidden under the seat.

The reason he tried to escape he said, was because the motorbike had no license plate and he was afraid of being arrested.

He confessed that he collided with the volunteer police and caused injury.

The police didn’t believe that “Mr. B” was not aware of the ya-ice and amphetamine hidden under the seat.

The police believes that “Mr. B” is a ya-ice and amphetamine agent who was on his way to deliver the “goods” to a customer. The police detained him for further investigation.
