Pattaya, January 19, 2012 [PDN]; At 12:15 Pol. Col. Somneuk Jankate, Banglamung police station said, that the police at the sentry box in Khao Talo headed by Pol. Sen. Sgt. Maj. Chatchai arrested two females in possession of amphetamines.
The suspects are Ms. Kanda or “Bo” Kaewudorn age 20 address: 28/6 Moo 4 Tambon Huayyai, Chonburi province and Ms. Varunee or “Mew” Maneewan age 18 (vocational diploma student 3rd year of the well known technology school in Pattaya) address: 32 Moo 9 Tambon Nong Preu, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi. The police found two plastic bags with 400 tablets and the motorbike brand: Honda Wave 125, red-black color, license number KOR NGOR MOR-31 Chonburi.
The drugs, two bags of amphetamines containing 400 tablets were hidden under the seat of the Honda Wave. Ms. Kanda or Bo and Ms. Varunee or Mew they claim that they had no idea of the amphetamines.
Ms. Kanda or Bo said that she and her boyfriend had brought their bike to Mr. Terng’s bike shop for wheel replacement. The bike was ready but no Mr. Terng. At 18:00 hrs still no Mr. Terng.
And then Ms. Varunee or Mewsaid that the sister of her boy friend had suddenly acute stomachache so Ms. Kanda and Ms. Varunee took Mr. Terng’s motorbike and rode off to buy painkillers.

But on the way there was a checking point and neither of them wore helmets and afraid of being arrested so they rode through the check point without stopping.
Pol. Col. Somneuk Jankate, Banglamung police station, said that the police still does not believe that the two women didn’t know there was amphetamine hidden under the seat of the Honda Wave.
Both have been charged with possession of amphetamines and they will be further investigated and prosecuted according to Thai law.
Pattaya police will issue an arrest warrant for Mr. Terng, the owner of the motorbike to be investigated about the amphetamines that were hidden under the seat of the motorbike.
