Man Tries To Rape Pattaya Masseuse Steals Handbag and Bike

A daytime rape incident occurred in Central Pattaya. The thief failed to rape the woman. Stole her handbag, her motorbike and escaped. The Police is searching for the criminal.

Pattaya, December 15, 2011[PDN]; Investigating officer Banglamung station (Nong Preu branch), Chonburi province was notified about a thief trying to rape a woman and steal her property. The incident occurred in the forest behind Dao karaoke shop, Pattanakarn road, Moo 13 Tambon Nong Preu, Banglamung, Chonburi province.

At the crime scene the police found Ms. Amika Phachai age 22, occupation masseuse waiting for the police. Ms Amika said that before the incident occurred Mr. “Boy” age 25, her brand new boyfriend, had called her and told that he will let his friend take her to his room in Soi Nern Plub Wan for a massage. The appointment was at the parking lot of the Big C Extra department store, Central Pattaya road.

She rode her motorbike to Big C Extra. There a man age circa 25-30 approached her and told that he was a friend of Mr. “Boy”. He said, he will take her to see Mr. “Boy” at his room, she believed him and they rode off together on her bike into small Soi beside Dao karaoke shop a forested area.

He parked the motorbike and tried to rape her but she resisted, fought back and managed to ran away to ask for help from the people at the Dao karaoke shop. When the thief saw Ms. Amika ran away into the karaoke shop, he grabbed her handbag which had fallen to the ground.

The handbag contained 1,100 THB cash and important documents. After stealing the handbag the man stole her motorbike and disappeared. Ms. Amika tried to call to Mr. “Boy” but could not contact him. The police brought the victim to the police station to coordinate with the investigation and the arrest. And first to make a sketch of the thief to be distributed to all Pattaya police stations.
