Sattahip, December 14, 2011 [PDN]; Pol. Capt. Arthorn Jitthin, Sattahip police station, Chonburi province was notified about a house fire at 11/18 Soi Sattahip Sukhumvit 80 (Yenruedee) Moo 6 in Sattahip, Chonburi.Four fire trucks rushed to the fire, a concrete one story house with galvanised iron roof surrounded by tapioca plantations.

The house was abandoned. The fire had started burning from inside the house. The fire brigade put out the fire after 20 minutes.Upon inspection the officers found only garbage and junk everything burnt by fire.The police also discovered a lot of drug, amphetamine paraphernalia. From asking the local people, who said that this house had been abandoned for a long time, the owner of the house had opened a gold shop in Sattahip market.
They had seen teenagers on their motorbikes coming in and out of the house, which they used as a meeting place to consume their drugs.The neighbours did not dare to talk with them because they were afraid.Before the incident occurred they saw three teenagers walking around the area. Later the fire broke out. Pol. Capt. Arthorn said the cause of the fire is the three drug addicts.The police is on the case. They have contacted the owner of the house and told him to look after his property.
