Sattahip, December 12, 2011[PDN], Pol. Capt. Aekkachai Moollee, Sattahip police station, Chonburi province was notified about a dead woman by the village chief Vinai in Soi Phongsuk, Bang Sarey, Chonburi province.
At the a accident scene in a coconut plantation 500 meters from the main road the hut was covered in fog. And the temperature was approximately 29 degree Celsius.
Inside the hut the police found the dead body of Mrs. Suna Jandadan age 49 on the floor in a yellow dress and white shorts.The lower body covered in a blanket and rigor mortis had begun to set in.
Nearby her son Somboon or “Jod” age 13 elementary school student was holding his dead mother’s hand and crying.The rescue officer transported the corpse for autopsy at Sattahip hospital.
The kid Somboon or “Jod” the son of the dead woman said that his family is very poor and the village chief Vinai had allowed them to live in the in the hut close to the coconut plantation. They moved on March 11, 2008 after his father died.His mother made a living from picking coconuts and selling them.
In the morning before she died his mother woke up coughing and she expired shortly there after.The cause of the death was probably the cool weather, the fog and an underlying unknown disease. The boy said, there were not enough blankets for his mother to keep warm.
The reporter added that Mrs Suna’s son was now an orphan. But fortunately Ms. Thongbai Rohatas age 72, the old kind woman from the nearby village offered to adopt the boy.And young “Jod” is willing to begin his life with the new family.
