Pattaya, December 10, 2011[PDN]; Pattaya police and Sawangboribul Rescue Pattaya Foundation were notified about an injured man, hit by falling bullet. The freak accident happened at Honeymoon Inn in Soi Paneadchang Moo 9, Banglamung, Chonburi province.
At the scene the police found Mr. Aekkawat Wongcharoen age 40 from Udon Thanee employee of Honeymoon Inn with a bullet wound on his right leg.
Mr. Aekkawat, the victim said that before accident he and his friend were sitting on bed of a pickup truck in front of the motel to watching the lunar eclipse.

Mr. Aekkawat said the bullet fell from the sky and hit his right leg. He did not know who had fired the shot nor did he know from which direction the bullet hit him. The rescue team swiftly sent Mr. Aekawat to Banglamung hospital.
The police assumes that the bullet might have been fired from angel worshippers, who fire into the air to get rid of bad luck according to their belief. This happens only during the lunar eclipse.
Pattaya police is on the case and should soon the one who fired the gun.
