The angst ridden woman drank insecticide once before but survived. Lately, her son asked for money while being locked up at the Juvenile Observation & Protection Center but the mother had no money. She tried to borrow. Still no money. Finally she committed suicide by drinking insecticide.
Sattahip, November 21, 2011 [PDN]; Pol. Lt. Col. Somphol Nakkhamphan, Na Jomtien police station, Sattahip was notified about a suicide. A woman had taken her own life by drinking insecticide at her home in 122/1 Soi Na Jomtien 52 Moo 8 Sattahip, Chonburi province.
At the scene of the suicide in a town house the police found the body of Mrs. Paradee or “Dam” Kampiret aged 39, in the bedroom laying on the bed. There was a lot of saliva in her mouth. The dead woman was dressed in a long sleeve violet blouse and black pants. They were traces of insecticide all over the floor. Nearby the police found insecticide in whiskey bottle and an empty water glass. The items were kept for evidence.
The dead body was sent for autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Upon investigation Mrs. Tukta Charoenchang aged 62, the mother of the dead woman, said that her grandson was incarcerated at the Juvenile Observation & Protection and her daughter was depressed for a long time and tried to commit suicide by drinking insecticide.
Lately her son had asked for money. His mother did not have any and tried to borrow but to no avail. The woman became more and more depressed. And asked for money from her mother to buy whiskey to numb the pain and stay quiet in the house.
The woman’s mother came the house and discovered her daughter dead on the bed after she had ingested insecticide.
