Sattahip, November 14, 2011 [PDN]; Pol. Lt. Col. Sombat Sophap, Sattahip police station, Chonburi province was notified about a hit & run accident involving a Isuzu Dmax, pick truck and a side car motorbike vendor. The pickup escaped in Pattaya City direction leaving the severely injured, dying vendor on side of the tarmac.

The fatal accident occurred on Sukhumvit road number 3 at km. 174 route Sattahip-Pattaya at Soi Kreau Navy Moo 2 Tambon Sattahip, Chonburi province.
At the scene of the accident the police found the motorbike a red Yamaha JR, number plate 9 KOR-0832 Chonburi sunk in the canal beside the highway. Nearby the severely injured rider, Mr. Tatee Yakkaret age 57, an ambulant fish seller from Sattahip lying on the ground with his head in the canal and with his both legs broken. The Sawangrojanathammasatharn Sattahip Foundation rescue team tried to resuscitate Mr. Tatee but to no avail.
The eyewitnesses said, that they saw Mr. Tatee riding his vending tricycle from Sattahip market in direction Pattaya City when a white Isuzu Dmax, number plate unknown at high speed hit the back of Mr. Tatee’s vehicle. Moments later the 57-year-old fish vendor was dead.
