Sriracha Drug Lord Caught With One Kilo “Ya-Ice” & Heavy Guns

Sriracha police arrested “Ton Nokhong” carrying one kilogram of crystal methamphetamine and 4,000 amphetamine tablets and a stash heavy weapons. The suspect is a well known drug lord on the Eastern Seabord, Sriracha area.

Sriracha, October 7, 2011[PDN]; Pol. Col. Montri Rodpranee, Superintendent, Sriracha police reported that two suspected drug dealers had been arrested: Mr. Payoongsak or “Dam” alias “Ton Nokhong” age 32, address: 117 Moo 9 Tambon Surasak, Chonburi province.

“Ton Nokthong” was caught in possession of “ya-ice” 997.85 grams and 4,000 amphetamine tablets, two M3 sub-machine guns; 50 units of cartridges, a Ruger pistol caliber .22 with 120 cartridges and a 9 mm pistol plus ammunition.

“Ton Nokhong” will be charged with illegal possession of amphetamine, crystal methamphetamine and fire arms.
The police officers on the case knew that “Ton Nokhong” operated as a drug dealer in Sriracha and he had been under surveillance. An warrant was issued and he was apprehended in his room.

Pol. Col. Montri Rodpranee, Superintendent of Sriracha police said that “Ton Nokhong” had previously been arrested on charges of illegal possession of fire arms but had had been bailed out.

The other arrested suspect is Mr. Soonthorn or “Kai Teangtae” age 34, address: 322/10 Moo 8 Tambon Surasak, Chonburi province who was arrested in possession of 40 amphetamine tablets and 0.84 g of crystal methamphetamine. “Kai Teangtae is charged with illegal possession of drugs and will be prosecuted according to the Thai law.
