Pattaya Road Accident: Ford Pick-Up Overturns After Hitting Mazda

A pickup truck hit a passenger car in front of Caltex Petrol Station on Pattaya Klang Road in Nongprue which resulted in the overturning of the pickup truck. The driver of the passenger car did not sustain any injuries. The passengers of the pickup could safely get out of their vehicle and sustained minor bruises.

Pattaya, August 14, 2011, (PDN) Pol.Lt.Col. Weerawut Melai, Pattaya Police was informed of an overturned pickup truck in front of Caltex Petrol Station on Pattaya Klang Road.

At the scene, the police found an overturned Ford Everest pickup truck, registration ChorTor 787 Bangkok on the traffic divider. The driver and the passengers who did not want to reveal their names could manage to get out of the pickup. They sustained only a minor bruises. Near the pickup was a Mazda 3 passenger car, registration Ao 9283 Bangkok with a damaged bumper. Mr Panny Pimpo, aged 28, the driver of the Mazda 3 who was unhurt reported to the police that while he was driving in the right lane, the pickup truck driving at high speed also in the right lane hit him. The pickup truck lost its balance, and overturned into the traffic divider.

Mr.Panny, the Mazda driver and the owner of the pick-up truck waited for their insurance companies to arrive.

Most of the roll-over SUV accidents in the USA seem to involve Fords; those SUV's are dangerous since even a minor collision or swerving will tip them over.
