Sex Boosters and Sex Toys Worth 500,000 THB Seized in Bangkok Crackdown

The Food and Drug Administration and Consumer Protection Police Division have arrested vendors selling illegal sex enhancement drugs and sex toys in the Charoenkrung, Sukumvit, Klongtan and Yaowarat areas in Bangkok.

Bangkok, August 2, 2011 [PDN]; Dr Pipat Yingseri, Secretary of the Food and Drug Administration and Pol.Col. Pitoon Koomsaprom, Deputy Commander of the Consumer Protection Police realesed the news of a crack down on illegal sex enhancement drug vendors in the Sukumvit, Klongtan and Yaowarat area.

Recently, FDA Consumer Protection Police arrested seven street stalls vendors selling sex boosters in the Charoenkrung road area. Some stalls were selling illegal sex toys such as artificial genitals. Upon further inspection a number of number of fake sex enhancement drugs and other unregistered drugs were discovered.

The value of the evidence from the seize is approximately 500,000 THB.
