A karaoke staff in Nongprue was shot by two teens leading to serious injuries. Police assumes that the shooting was triggered by a love affair and a revenge by the victim's rival

Pattaya, 24 July 2011 [PDN]; Pol.Lt.Col. Anuchet Kadsomboon, Pattaya Police was informed of a shooting at Munmai Karaoke lounge in Nongprue.

At the scene, the police found the serious wounded, Mr Prasit Meunsuks, 28, a staff at Manmai Karaoke, who was shot in his chest and neck.The police with the Swangboriboon rescue team took him to Banglamung hospital.

Ms Renu Pochai, 32, the victim’s wife, reported to the police that while the victim was in the shop, two teens rode by on a motorbike; Honda Click and shot the victim before fleeing the scene and heading to Jomtien Beach Road.

The witness reported to the police that the suspects rode their motorbike twice prior to the shooting to check the location before the firing the shots.

The police assumes that the shooting was caused by a love affair or a revenge by the victim’s rival. The police will interrogate the victim after he recovers
