Police Arrest Drug Lords and Seize Amphetamines Worth 6.5 Million THB

Lamchabang undercover police have arrested a major drug dealing gang. The value of drugs amount to about 6.5 million THB.

Lamchabang, 21 July 2011 [PDN]; Pol. Lt. Gen. Thangai Prasjaksutthu, Commissioner Provincial Police Region 2 released the news of the arrest of major drug dealers by Laemchabang Police, Pol.Lt.Col. Sakrapee Peawpanich.

The suspects Mr Anan or “Jib” Kritong, 29, and Ms. Sunisa or “Ploy” Yaiyeam, 20 were arrested in possession of 34,000 tablets of ya-ba, 40 gram of ya-ice, 60 tablets of ya-e, 20 bottles of ya-k, and 200 tablets of Nimetazepam (“Happy-5′s”). The value of the drugs amount to about 6.5 million THB. They were charged with posession and sale of drugs.

The undercover police arrested the suspects by pretending to purchase 2,000 tablets of ya-ba along the railway at Tungsukala, Sriracha, Chonburi. Upon appointment, Ms Sunisa came on a motorbike to deliver the ya-ba. The police showed up and arrested her. After Ms Sunisa’s arrest the police went to her house at 29/47 Moo.10 Surasak in Sriracha to arrest Mr.Chana aka “Joy” Krithong her boyfriend and Mr Anan aka “Jib” Krithong, Chana’s brother Anan escaped. The police found many drugs hidden in their house.

Ms Sunisa reported to the police that Chana hid drugs in their house prior to customer delivery. She was the one who delivered the drugs and Anan always stayed at home to keep an eye on the drugs.

As for Chana, who escaped, the police issued the arrest warrant.
