Pattaya, 2011 28 June (PDN) Pol. Lt. Col. Anuchet Kadsomboon Pattaya Police was informed of a shooting incident at Soi Thepprasit 1 in Nongprue. The police and Swangboriboon rescue team rushed to the scene.

At the scene, the victims; Mr Somsak Ratanasarn, 21, was shot in his right elbow and Mr Piyapong Rodsen, 22, was shot in his right knee. They were given the first aid and taken to Banglamung hospital.
Mr Surapon Nakprom, 37, a witness, reported that while he was drinking with the victims and a group of friends, three to four teenagers rode their motorbikes around them with high speed and braked creating loud noices. The victims and their group shouted and made some remarks addressed to the bikers.
Soon after, the bikers returned and fired their guns at the victims, causing injury. The friends of the victims ran away and the suspects fled the scene on their motorbikes.

The police assumes that the suspects might have been ridiculed by the victims and the others. And were thereby were upset.
However, the police will investigate for further evidence and search the suspects for legal prosecution
