Sutthahip, 27 June 2011 [PDN]: Mr Pichit Kiekkutun, Chief of Sawangrojanathumasathan Foundation rescue team, Sutthahip, Chonburi was informed by Ms Maeya Petchma aged 32, that her son who 18 months old was locked in the car as he pressed a key on the car remote key while alone in the vehicle.
Yuthasak “Bank” Petchma, a 18-month-old boy was inside the car a Honda Civic registration Chor-Por-3752 Bangkok. He was holding a car remote control key in his hand and looked exhausted. His mother and grandfather shouted to him push the remote control button the key to open to open the car door but he could not make it. A rescue team locksmith arrived and it took him more than 30 minutes to open the car door.

Ms Maeya stated that she took his son to the dinner at her father’s house. Before leaving her father took her son and placed him on the seat next to the driver’s seat and she stepped putside for a moment. She did not notice that her son was
holding the car remote control key. While she was outside, her son pressed the remote control to lock the doors .Ms Maeya and her father tried to shout to her son to unlock the car for a long time.
She added that this incident was caused by her recklessness of allowing her son to hold the car remote control key. She said, if the rescue team could not open the car door she would break the car’s window to save her son’s life. She said would also not allow her son to play the car remote control key anymore.
