Pattaya, 9 June 2011 [PDN]: The International Criminal Police Organisation (INTERPOL) notified Chonburi Police of a Russian drugs convict who fled Russia and currently resided in Pattaya.
Andrey Kozlov, 30 was found guilty of drug dealing in Russia. However, since 26 February 2010 he escaped to Thailand and now living in Pattaya.

Pol. Col. Chusak Hanusamporn (Superintendent of Chonburi Immigration Police) searched and found the suspect at Bansuan Lalana Condominium in Nong Prue.
After his identification was verified with his passport, the suspect was arrested.
Andrey confessed that he was a major drug dealer in Russia.
After the Russian government has issued an arrest warrant, he fled the country and hid in Pattaya, Andrey said adding that he only left the house at night time to avoid being spotted by the police during the day.
The suspect’s passport was terminated and he was handed over to the International Criminal Police Organisation.

Pol. Lt. Gen. Wiboon Bangthamai (Commissioner of the Immigration Poilice) commanded the immigration police to suppress all foreign criminals in order to protect the image of Thailand
