Man Stabbed To Death Possibly By Wife’s Lover, Police say

A man was stabbed to death in his room by a suspect who was reportedly having an affair with the deceased’s wife.

Pattaya, 31 May 2011 [PDN]: Pol. Col. Anuchet Kartsomboon (Pattaya Police Investigator) was notified that a man was murdered at a Furniture factory on Soi Thep Prasit 11.

At the scene, the body of the 30-year-old Pichai Susawat Numchoke of Nong Khai province was found lying on the floor wearing white shorts and top.

Several stab wounds were located on his body including one above his left chest, one under the chest and one at the back of his neck, an officer reported.

There were no signs of struggle in the room and no weapons found, the officer added.

However, there were a passport and some documents of a woman named Duangporn Pornsprasert, aged 29, the police said adding that these will be kept as evidence.

The room keeper, Seree Young Pradit said the passport owner Duangporn was the new wife of the deceased Pichai.

One night the wife was seen returning to their room with another man and they were quarrelling very loudly, Seree continued.

According to the room keeper, when he approached their room with the intention of quietening the argument, he heard Duangporn said, “How could I let this horrible thing go? You raped my sister, who is now admitted to the hospital.”

The wife left the room with the man soon after, Seree said.
When questioning a motorbike taxi nearby, he told the police he drove the couple to Carrefour, Central Pattaya.

However, the police searched the Carrefour complex but could not find the couple.
The police believed that the murderer was Duangporn’s mystery man, who may have also committed raping her sister.
Pattaya authorities have informed all police forces and teams to find Duangporn and the murderer
