Pattaya, 30 May 2011 [PDN]: Police Captain Wissanu Chaisuwan and Pattaya police arrested two suspects in a buy-and-bust operation and seized 2.84 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine Hydrochlorides or locally known as Yah-Ice along with other drug devices.
On the early morning of 30 May, the Uganda suspect Lubwama Lameck, 28 and a Thai bar girl, Wipada Sombat, 20 of Najomtien were captured at Mc Donald in Pattaya Klang
.
The police have been following and investigating the Uganda suspect for a long time, Captain Wissanu said.
Based on an unknown source, Lubwama is a major Pattaya drugs dealer, who purchases his supply from Bangkok and sells them to Pattaya tourists at a higher price, the Captain added.

Both suspects were taken back to their room (No. 23 on second floor) at “Kochawan Place”, near South Pattaya Big-C and police found more Yah-Ice along with drugs equipment. The suspect told the police that they buy the drugs from Walking Street for personal use only. They deny selling the drugs to others, an officer said.
However, the police did not believe their story. Lubwama was taken to Pattaya police station for further questioning. He will be charged with possession and selling of class-1 drugs, an officer said.
The police will continue their interrogation and investigation in hopes of finding other members of the drugs network
