23-Year-Old Male Died Of Asphyxiation

A male factory worker found dead in his home died from asphyxiation with a plastic bag over his head and adhesive tape around his neck.

Sriracha, 8 May 2011 [PDN]: At 9.30 p.m., Police Lieutenant Colonel Sumet Harnwisai of Lamchabang Police Department was informed that a young man had committed suicide at his house in Tungsukhala, Sriracha. The police and Sawangprathep Sriracha Rescue Team rushed to the scene.

Tirawut Petchking was found dead with a plastic bag over his head along with a roll of leftover adhesive tape, a police officer described, suspecting that the victim had used the tape to suffocate himself to death.
The police added there was no sign of struggle at the scene.

According to his friend, Yok Namsang, the 23-year-old victim was a block factory worker, who lived in Nakornratchasrima province.

Yok told the police that Tirawut looked cheerful earlier today when he came by the victim’s house to have a drink while watching football.

It appeared that Tirawut had committed suicide due to stress, the police speculated.

However, his body will be examined by the Institute of Forensic Medicine to determine the actual cause of death

If you can believe that, I have a bridge to sell you, Yes, the young man put a plastic bag over his head and found the time to wrap tape around his neck, without panicking to breathe,,,is everyone really so stupid when it comes to suicides in Thailand. Maybe he was sleeping when he done this to himslef, that would explain the no struggle in the "Police" report,

Why am I asking questions, the police didn't. They speculate suicide, case closed.

Yep, police is correct - suicide.

His friend says he was cheerful. What information is the police basing there speculation of suicide due to stress?
