21-Year-Old Sex-Toy Shop Owner Charged

A 21-year-old woman was charged for selling sex toys after her shop was exposed by Pattaya police.

Pattaya, 9 May 2011 [PDN]: At 4 p.m., Police Lieutenant Colonel Krita Thankanarat, (Deputy Superintendent Inspector Investigation) along with Chief of Foundation of Protection of Children Youth and Women and his team arrested the owner of a sex toy shop called Pattaya House of Condom located in Pattaya Nue.

At the shop, the police found more than 100 artificial sex toys such as artificial penises, vibrators and contraceptive pills.
The arrested owner, Sopawan Jaipakdee, 21, confessed that she received her orders via the internet.

 

Most of her customers are Thai women, she said, adding that the prices can vary from as cheap as 19 Baht per item or as expensive as 800 Baht per piece.

Sopawan was charged for selling sex toys and detained for further prosecution
