Pattaya, 13 April 2011. [PDN] 3 a.m. Police Lieutenant Winai Horien, Inspecting Officer of Banglamung Police Department was informed that a Thai man was shot at the house No. 14, Moo.11, Nongprue, Banglamun, Chonburi. (It was opposite to Pattaya Park Hill Village, Nongyai 2) The police rushed to the crime scene along with Sawang Somboon Paramedics.At the crime scene, the police discovered Mr. Manus Tongchai, 31 (resides at 50/2, Moo.2, Dongtueng, Banmee, Lopburi) he was shot by a 9 mm. gun at the left hip one shot The paramedics performed first aid and took him to the the Banglamung Hospital. The police checked the scene and found the gate was damaged by a gun shot. They also found 12 cartridges of the 9 mm. gun and 2 cartridges of a No.20 shotgun.
The victim stated that he came to Pattaya one day before and stayed at his relative’s house. He went to play snooker at the club which was far from his house about 500 meters and had a fight with Mr. Get (unknown real name) and his gang. Around 3 a.m., Mr. Get and his friends, more than 10 people came to his house and shot at him. He tried to escape but they still shot at him. After wards, the suspect escaped.The police assumed that they might argue because of the dislike or the bet. However, the police will investigate the victim thoroughly and will find the teenage gang and bring them to justice.
