Motorbike Accident: One Wounded, One Died

A motorbike had crashed into an electrical pole, killing a Cambodian national and injuring a Thai man.

Pattaya, 6th April 2011 [PDN]: At 10.30 p.m., Police Lieutenant, Songkram Pan-Aiem (Inspecting Officer of Pattaya Police Department) was informed of a motorbike accident occurring at Soi Paniedchang 2, Moo.6, Naklua, Banglamung, Chonburi. The police and the paramedics team hurried to the scene.

Witnesses reported the motorbike (Blue-black Yamaha Me-o, registered number plate Kor-Ngor-Ror 231) carrying two people had crashed into an electrical pole, resulting in one survival and one death.

The living victim, Mr. Sudjai Riengpim, 24, suffered a head injury and a few bruises.

Mr. Sudjai admitted they lost control of the motorbike as it curved the road at a fast speed.

The casualty was Mr. Chon Chean, 24, a Cambodian national (Resides at 99/654, Moo.6, Bangmueng, Samutprakarn).

The police currently conduct thorough investigation into the accident and will contact the victim’s relatives.
