Sattahip, 31st March 2011 [PDN]: At 3 a.m., Police Captain of Pattaya Police Department was approached by Miss Kwandao Wingwon, aged 32 (resides at 40/1509, Moo.4, Klongsam, Klongluang, Pathumthani). She was the owner of Nara Travel and Service Company. Miss Kwandao reported to the police that she was threatened by the gang of the lender. There were about 7-8 members in the gang. They came to her office and threatened her, then took her office computers. The police team went to the scene to investigate the incident.

At the scene, Ms. Kwandao showed the police all the traces left behind by the gang. Furthermore she told the police that she had borrowed about 30,000 Baht from an illegal lender named Mr. Boy. She had been paying off her debt at about 600 Baht per day for past two months. She will continue paying 600 Baht everyday until she paid up the capital. However, she was two days overdue with her repayment, which was about 1,200 Baht. Today, a gang sent by the lender came to her office and demanded for the overdue amount. She asked them to give her one hour for her to find the money. They refused to wait and took her computers instead.

Police General, Nantawut Suwanla-ong, Superintendent of Pattaya Police Department says that the action of the gang is against the law. The police already know the leader of the loan business. They will find him and prosecute him
