Pattaya, 9th March 2011 [PDN]: At 5:30 a.m., Police Captain Somchai Chaikananukul Deputy Suppression Inspector of Pattaya Department, Chonburi was informed that a foreigner caught a Thai ladyboy, pickpocketing his money at a place opposite to Best Friend Bar (located on Pattaya Beach Rd, Moo 9, Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi).  The police rushed to the crime scene immediately.

At the scene, the police discovered that the victim’s name was Mr. Abassai Habile Gehea, a 45 year-old Iranian.   His friends and he were trying to catch the drunk and frightened ladyboy.   The suspect, Mr. Sontaya Srichanplaeng, aged 24 (living at No. 117, Moo 11, Plai, Prasat, Surin) was wearing a short skirt and long wig.  The victim reported that his Iranian cash was pickpocketed, all worth the equivalent of approximately 770,000 Baht.

The police searched the suspect and found the stolen cash hidden in the wig.   The theft confessed that he earned his income by offering illegal sexual services at Pattaya beach.   The suspect approached two Iranians as they were passing by.  The victims agreed to hire the ladyboy for oral sex at the cost of 100 Baht per person.   However, in the middle of the service, the ladyboy became too drunk and tired.  The suspect suddenly stopped his service and asked for payment.   The victims refused and told the ladyboy to find the money himself.   Then the suspect took the Iranian’s money and hid it in the wig.  Unfortunately the ladyboy was caught red-handed.

The police continued their questionings with the victims.  The suspect was charged with theft crime.
