Pattaya Bed Race Competitors Lining Up

Get ready for the third International Bed Cart Race- Pattaya on January 30th 2011 at 18.00, in front of Central Festival, Pattaya Beach Road.

Pattaya, 26th January 2011, in front of the activity store Sunken, Central Festival, a press conference was held to announce the tournament of the International Pattaya Bed Cart Race 2011. The conference was presided over by Mr. Rongit Akesingh, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya, Mr. Ithi Kongkruth Director of ททท Pattaya, Mr. Nils Colov – chairmain of the of the organization, Mr. Sran Tantijamran- Manager of Central, and the honoured guests Mr.Nhophdon Saengma and the President of the Rotary Club Pattaya.

This event is expected to be the biggest of its kind. There will be about 100 teams in this year’s competition, and about 20,000 watchers. Be ready to join the fun, with many activities for families, including a parade before the race. The event will be held in front of Central Festival, Pattaya Beach Rd. The parade will start at 18.00 and the race at 19.00

Pattaya and Rotary Club Pattaya are the hosts of the event, as every year, in order to promote Pattaya as a tourism centre and to establish a unity between the tourists and citizens. Pattaya is extremely pleased to host this event again this year and welcomes everyone whole-heartedly.
