Pattaya,16th January 2011[PDN]: At 00.25 a.m. Police Lieutenant Wallot Gangtarathip, investigations official of the Pattaya Police Station, Chonburi, was notified by a nurse from the Pattaya Memorial Hospital, of a foreign man who had been admitted by the Pattaya Rescue Foundation Unit with a stab wound below his left breast.
The injured man who had been treated by the nurse as an emergency was later identified as Mr. Kimmo Liukku, [28] from Finland, During the investigations, it was found that Mr. Kimmo Liukku had been out drinking at a bar near Soi Doo Dee, Pattaya, before the incident took place. He was said to have been very drunk when he and his ex Thai wife came face to face. They had been separated for over a year and shared custody of their one year old child of whom they began arguing over.
The two began fighting for possession of a knife which resulted in Mr. Liukku receiving a stab wound to the left of his chest. The two were separated by a rescue official who took Mr. Liukku to the Pattaya Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Police officials are waiting for an improvement in Mr. Liukku’s health before further questioning along with his ex wife in order to provide a clearer picture of what had happened and enable them to close the case according to the law.

Looks like that, the police is waiting until he passes away and than it's a simple case. Suicide in public and everybody believes whatever the ex-wife says or pays.
How about: "His Thai, ex-wife"?
